fash Winter 2021/2022 focus on joy and positivity

FASHION

While summer isn't over yet, brands have already launched Pre-Fall 2021 and Fall / Winter 2021/2022 campaigns both online and on paper. Whether it's the clothes, the shoes, or the shows themselves, there is one constant in next season's campaigns: the much-needed post-pandemic joy and a return to boundless positivity and optimism. We at FashionUnited dive into ad campaigns worth seeing.

Fall-Winter 2021 Coach

Renelle Medrano photographed Jennifer Lopez, Michael B. Jordan, Coca, and Jeremy Lin for the latest Coach campaign. In the photographs, Lopez appears with a wide smile on his face, sharing only good emotions and a positive attitude. She wears a bucket hat and two bags, Tabby and Tate, and emphasizes a return to simplicity and freedom. The campaign was based on present and future inspiration, mixing tender feelings like being with loved ones and celebrating the endless possibilities that lie ahead.

Miu Miu Fall-Winter 2021

Miu Miu began her campaign with Crown star Emma Corrin, who plays Princess Diana of Wales in the series. In the fall-winter 2021 season, Steven Meisel photographed the actress in soft colors and looked at the camera with a bright smile. The campaign was photographed against a pastel background that reflects Corrin's personality, and it all brought some optimism and joy into the upcoming winter season.

Michael Kors Fall-Winter 2021

On the occasion of the brand's 40th anniversary, Michael Kors starred in his Fall / Winter 2021 campaign at various locations on Broadway, New York. The pictures celebrate the city's inexhaustible energy, its positive atmosphere, and its eternal hope. Photographers Inez and Vinood captured Naomi Campbell and Caroline Murphy in long dresses and gold mini dresses. As an ode to the resurgence of urban life, the campaign was conceived as an unforgettable evening and featured images from the MK40 Reissue capsule.

Louis Vuitton Shoes Pre-Fall 2021

For its Pre-Fall 2021 footwear campaign, Louis Vuitton selected TikTok and Youtube stars Emma Chamberlain and Charlie D'Amelio. Both have been selected for promotional images of LV Squad and LV Sunset shoes, and the protagonists are joy and positivity. Big smiles, bright hues and oversaturated things can be seen in a campaign full of bright energy and candid poses. The sunny shots from Los Angeles feature palm trees, sand, and flower backgrounds celebrating a return to the simple joys of everyday life.

Stella McCartney before fall 2021

Stella McCartney's Pre-Fall 2021 crusade is part of the brand's alphabetical manifesto, which was first unveiled last spring. In this case, the collection protects the letter "J" and the word "Joy" associated with it. Photos taken by Mert & Marcus show animal models walking around London with the collection. The positive message is that animals are equal to humans. While the campaign is based on ideas of optimism and joy, it also carries an important message - to end the use of fur.

Dior Pre-Fall 2021 collection

The Dior Pre-Fall 2021 campaign is focused on energetic colors, bold hues and, above all, is inspired by pop art. Photographer Bridget Niedermire captured Skuli Mejia, Kayako Higuchi and Jitsa Botsma against colorful backgrounds that set the campaign apart. Niedermair has played with contrasts and proportions to create literally stunning looks. Leopard prints, metallic details and a monogrammed overall look create eye-catching silhouettes with fuchsia and yellow accents.

Salvatore Ferragamo

Salvatore Ferragamo's Fall / Winter 2021 campaign titled Future Together was directed by director Vin Wenders. Reflecting on the post-pandemic future, the brand released a video filmed at the CityLife complex in Milan, as well as images highlighting the colorful elements of the collection. The story of the campaign - from neon green coats to bright blue skirts and cardigans - is based on hope and energy for the future. One thing is for sure: next season, optimism will be at its peak.
